รูปปฏิเสธของ Shall คือ Shall not (Shan’t)
รูปปฏิเสธของ Should คือ Should not (Shouldn’t)
- Shall ใช้ในการเสนอแนะ ชี้แนะ เสนอความช่วยเหลือ
Ex. Shall I carry your bags for you? (ฉันถือกระเป๋าให้คุณไหม?)
หมายเหตุ: ในปัจจุบันไม่ค่อยใช้ Shall กันแล้ว
แต่บางครั้งอาจเจอได้ในการพูดอย่างเป็นทางการ และบางเอกสารทางกฎหมาย
สาหรับภาษาอังกฤษในชีวิตประจาวันจะเจอ Shall
มากที่สุดในประโยคคาถามยื่นข้อเสนอ หรือเสนอแนะ ชักชวน ว่า Shall I…? / Shall

- Should แปลว่า ควรจะ... ใช้ในการแนะนา

May และ Might แปลว่า อาจจะ สามารถใช้แทนกันได้ แต่ Might
จะสื่อว่ามีโอกาสเกิดขึ้นได้น้อยกว่า
รูปปฏิเสธของ May คือ May not
รูปปฏิเสธของ Might คือ Might not (Mightn’t)
- ใช้บอกความเป็นไปได้ หรือสิ่งที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้น
