CAUTION:
Ensure the stipulated safety procedures are followed while carrying out the PM activities
A Safety Precautions Prior to PM procedure :
1 Inform the user department and obtain approval if power supply needs to be isolated.
2 Inform the user department and obtain approval if the respective department will be affected by testing.
3 Isolate the UPS main electrical supply before cleaning or tightening any contacts.

Performance (Qualitative) Checklist:
Check computer metal cover for damage or corrosion
Tighten contact and terminal screws.
Switch off electrical supply to the UPS & record the back-up period.
Switch on the computer and run the Building Management Program.
Check movement of mouse.
Scan hard disk drive for Viruses.
Check and adjust the time settings if necessary.
Verify that all DDC panels are online.
Check the system to ensure all system points are online.
Check each service connected to the BAS to ensure that each system point is in the correct mode.
Go to the program feature and print out the parameter history of each service for the last 30 days.
Clean floppy drive /CD ROM drive with recommended cleaner.
Service printer and check for its functioning.
Inspect & confirm the functionality of mimic panel, repeaters & other accessories
If necessary, open Schedule Corrective Work Request for remedial works.
C Checklist for Safety Inspection on Completion of PM:
1 Check no tools are left behind before leaving.
2 Log out and ensure that the Building Automation System is online.
3 Ensure that the main supply to the UPS is switched back on.
