2. Why do you think the main character bears the name “Aurea” instead of any other

3. What could be the irony in the story? Cite proof from the text and explain.

1. What are the social issues implied in the story? Explain them further.
2. Could you blame Aurea for being the kind of person she became? Justify your
answer.
3. What are the cultural traditions reflected in the story? What do these traditions
imply?
Group 6 – Movie Poster
Students illustrate a movie poster for the story. If the story would be turned into a
movie, how would its poster look like?
Present and explain your work in the class through representative(s) of the group.
Assignment:
Choose only one from the given tasks:
1. Create an alternate ending of the story; or
2. A continuation of the story.
Write it on a short size bond paper. Provide only a
one page output for this task.
