Do not west your enegy forcing achild in eary stage of preopretiona period to see things from your point of view,I agree this statmant for the following factor;
In this period child has luck of conservationmeans that the ability of realize the properties of object remaining the same although its shape migth change so due to that it will be difficult to force them to change their mind so as to do as you want.
Irrevesibility; child in preopretional stage being unable to reverse mentally the prorties or their thinking, so children in stagelearn by expericing reai an objects from in environment which sorrounding them example they can learn by using images,simbols real action from the people who are living together like father,mother and real object which sorrounding them which they see it themselves.
Egoceentrsm; in stage child has luck of ability to know and recognise tha object see from their point of view insteade they think that other person is seing the object as she/he is seing it from hteir position, the children sitting infront the room looking an object in amiddle of the room thinks that person looking it the same the object from the back the room has same view of object as child view .so due to this it will be difficult to force child to see things from your point of views.
According Piaget operations are actions that that perform menttally including knowing object,thinking and manipulating ideas so for the child in preoperational stage is not yet able to manipalate things mentally although she/she started to as language in stage childs mental functionis main characteristized with the use of simbols and image ,the child gains the ability to represent an object that is absent , ademostration of thinking.
Also this stage chald like play differences plays and gems,for example child can take a piece of wood and resemble it with real object such as acar,so use it to drive or to make that piece ofwood as the house and let it as real house try to make the things which found in the house environment so it will be very difficult ti force them to focus as you seing.
