Access to PERT Reports You may access PERT and your effort report via GEMS Self Service. To login, use one of the following options: USF Portal: https://my.usf.edu Step by step instructions for portal setup are available at the following link (This will allow you to access the portal without having to re-enter your system login information each time you access the area): http://www.usf.edu/portalhelp/IntSignonProc.htm Access the eUSF portal from off-campus (requires client download): https://cypher.gate.usf.edu GEMS Self Service (direct connection): https://gems.fastmail.usf.edu/gemspro/signon.html You will need your userid (00000022230) and password. If you don’t remember your password, or if your password is no longer valid, you must send an email to IT helpdesk (helpdesk@admin.usf.edu) be sure to include your GEMS Self Service User ID (GEMS 11 digit Emplid). All requests for password changes must be made in writing per USF Audit & Compliance. The Blackboard Portal: https://myusf.edu You will need your userid (11 digit emplid) and password. If you don’t remember your ID and password, or if your password has expired, you can get the information by emailing the IT helpdesk (above). Finding and certifying other effort reports If you are responsible for certifying the effort report(s) for OPS employees, you can identify all such reports by navigating to the Effort Certification page and entering the emplid of the employee you are looking for or if you are the PI/Co-PI for an OPS employee, you may navigate to the PI/Co-PI Certification of OPS page and by entering your emplid as the PI ID, you should be able to bring up all effort reports associated with your id. Please let me know if you have any difficulty identifying and/or certifying an effort report. Please certify your effort benefiting a project for all committed cost share. Committed cost share requires a specific set up in PERT. If you do not see the project listed on your effort report, please contact Betty Persky to correct the form to ensure accuracy. The certification deadline is Wednesday, October 31, 2007.
