Operation Services Ltd, it is necessary that all contractors go through this Online Induction process upon their first arrival to site and prior to any tasks commencing. This is Part B of the Online Induction process which provides information on the site specifics for Tir Mostyn Wind Farm. Depending on your work activity, you will also need to • complete Part A (all wind sites), • provide work-related certificates, • complete a questionnaire at the end of this Online Induction session. Health and Safety Induction - Part B Tir Mostyn Wind Farm Page 4 Site specific hazards • Working Farm The wind farm is sited on a working farm, please take extra caution when on site to avoid the livestock. Ensure that you clean your boots thoroughly before entering the substation or turbines. • Public Roads The access gates near turbines 2 and 1 and site C, all open out onto a public single track road. When using these gates please ensure that vehicles are parked safely as to not block the road, gates are secured, and extra care is taken when using the gates to watch for other road users. • Cattle Grids Cattle grids on site have no pedestrian access, please ensure that extra care is taken when crossing them to open and close gates, especially in wet and slippery conditions. Health and Safety Induction - Part B Tir Mostyn Wind Farm Page 5 Site specific hazards • Mains Fed Water The water at the substation is mains fed and is suitable for drinking, the system is tested annually for suitability. • Overhead Lines There are overhead lines crossing the internal roads at just beyond the main entrance, persons responsible for the operation of any high vehicles or equipment must take care to ensure that there is adequate clearance before attempting to pass under them.
