What is Cloud Storage?
Cloud Storage is an online file storage system that allows
individual or corporate bodies to store, share and access data
remotely using any device at anytime and anywhere.
Brief history of Cloud Storage
1963: US Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)
developed project MAC.
1969: American psychologist and computer scientist,
Joseph Carl Robnett Licklider helped USDARPA to connect
people and data anywhere at anytime.
1983: CompuServe offered its users small amount of disk
space to store data
1990s: AT&T launched the first Web-based storage system
