DESIGN THE FUTURE
Announcement of Competition: THE HAND’S THOUGHT promoted by
EXPO - EXPOnenti - BOSCH
(Announcement made in accordance with international regulations in coordination with
ICOGRADA, ICSID/IDA, BEDA; sponsored by the Italian Industrial Design Association – ADI).
Article 1 Competition Objective
The hand is the perfect tool for giving shape to the mind’s thought. All that surrounds us comes

faster and with greater precision.
Hence EXPOnenti is announcing a competition for the design of functional products
(independent or complementary to more complex systems) that multiply the hand’s capability
and represent the Expo’s theme “Feeding the planet – Energy for life”.
The designs must increase the value and potential of the use of the hand, in a framework
consistent with contemporary technological development and the proper use of material and
energy resources and the use of the designed products.
BOSCH, a manufacturer and marketer of its own brand electronic tools, known for their high level
