Shipping is the most important mode of transportation in international logistics nowadays. Big and small boats docked at shores waiting for loading and unloading goods. In order to improve the overall efficiency and avoid port congestion, many experts have studied how to arrange berth sequence and design efficient container yard, including crane’s direction and so on. However, few articles point out how to improve the flexibility of the berth, and it causes the situation of berth waste and inefficient use. If big size berths are not enough, vessels have to spend longer time on lining. If there are too many large berths, it will increase the flexibility of use, but it will also increase the cost and lead to insufficient efficiency. Therefore, this article plans to propose a model to design the most suitable berth size, berth number and berth shape according to different port characteristics, such as the size and quantity of inbound ships, and the port topography. Using this model to design berth and referring other papers of container yards and crane design can reduce some unnecessary wastes and make ports operate more smoothly. 海運是目前國際物流中最主要的運輸方式,大大小小的船停靠在岸邊等著上 貨、卸貨,為了提升整體的效率、避免港口發生阻塞的問題,目前已有許多專 家研究要如何安排泊位順序及如何設計最有效率的集裝箱堆場,包含起重機方 向等等。但很少文章指出如何提升港口泊位的彈性,造成許多泊位浪費或使用 效率不佳的情形。大泊位若不足,會造成大船無法入港而要排隊;若大泊位太 多,能提高使用彈性,但也會提升成本,導致效率不足。因此,此篇文章提出 一個模型,可以依照不同港口特性,例如進港船的大小及數量、港口地形等等 因素,設計出一個最適合的泊位大小、泊位數量與形狀,再配合其他集裝箱堆 場的設計,即能減少部必要的浪費,使港口作業更為順暢。
