EKPIC01 Evaluation Board User Guide
The evaluation board is used to help customers to assess their project rapidly and
develop the DWIN’ screen as quickly as possible

Application Note
a. Evaluation board provides two types (Corresponding to the Power A、B port) in
order to switch in the user’s power. But the corresponding pin is connected
each other. So the usage is the same. Voltage input range from 6V-42V.
b. For compatibility with DWIN screen’s 10 Pin TTL interface (LCD1) and 8 Pin
RS232 interface (LCD2), evaluation board provide a soldering pad which you
can select: disconnection for RS232 (OFF default state), short-circuit for TTL
(ON).

Input port:

Current measurement port---measuring range: 4-20mA.Note: the current
direction is only from the user’s equipment to the evaluation board.

Voltage measurement port---measuring range: 0-5V. Note: the voltage
direction can only be a positive voltage related to the evaluation board.

Temperature measurement port---thermistor PT1000; the evaluation
board has been set within 10K bias resistor. RE0、RE1、RE2 are IO input
port.
d. Three buttons Input. When a button is pressed, the corresponding input pin is
pulled low.
e. In order to facilitate the users’ to expand their system, the evaluation board
has a 16 IO port.
f.
MCU is the ISP serial port to download programs. ISP serial port and 8 pin
RS232 interface (LCD2) are multiplexing. Use the anti-wiring to connect the
PC serial port.
g.
There is a reset button in evaluation board. User can reset the chip.
3. How to use DEMO
a. Download the font file DWINASC_00.HZK and DWIN_PY_GBK_01.HZK to
the product’s 0 and 1 font position respectively;
b.
Download pictures in the “picture” folder in accordance with label (CTRL+A to
select all);
c. Download the “0x1E-Sample.bin” to the touch configuration 0x1E;
d. H600 kernel select: Save the settings PEREMETER in the terminal
configuration V6.0. Touch mode Para1=0x60, Para2=0xEF, as shown below.

e. Compile new.mcw engineering and download into EKPIC01 evaluation board;
