Rules for Relative Age Dating:
1. Layer on bottom is oldest.
Layer on top is youngest.
2. If erosion occurs before a new layer is deposited, you will see a wavy line between layers.
3. If magma leaks up (intrusion) into layers OR if a fault occurs that breaks layers, then those are
younger than the layers that are in.
