2017 SP 1 —Final Exam Breakdown
The exam mostly tests grammar. However, vocabulary is necessary to understand the
questions. The exam covers random vocabulary from PE through 7B.
There are 100 multiple-choice questions. Below is a breakdown of those 100 questions.
10 listening (ordering food in a restaurant, descriptions and likes/dislikes)
10 reading (read for info about a trip, reading comprehension about daily activities)
80 grammar questions:
 present-tense regular verb conjugations
 yo-go verb conjugations
 stem-changing verb conjugations (**practice servir: to serve, ei**)
 ir, ir + a + infinitive, contractions (al, a la, a los, a las)
 adjective agreement and positions
 possessive adjectives
 question words (plus more in listening and reading sections)
 comparisons and superlatives
 prepositions
 ser vs. estar
 using 2 verbs together (using an infinitive)
 gustar (gusta vs. gustan, pronouns: me, te, le, nos, os, les)
 commands
 present progressive
 regular preterit verb conjugations
 –car, -gar, -zar preterit verb conjugations
