Microculture: Microculture refers to the specialized subgroups, marked with their own languages,
ethos and rule expectations, that permeate differentiated industrial societies.
Co-culture: A group that has little or no say in creating the dominant structure of society
Dominant culture: dominant culture is a cultural practice that is dominant within a particular
political, social or economic entity, in which multiple cultures are present. It may refer to a
language, religion/ritual, social value and/or social custom.
Acquaintance: a person one knows slightly, but who is not a close friend.
Norms: a standard or pattern, especially of social behavior, that is typical or expected of a group.
