Reinstating Rules Mr. Antolini December 17, 1932 As we gather toward the end of the semester, many of the students feel the need to break or bend the rules at Pencey Prep. I am here to remind all students that if you do end up breaking a rule, depending on how severe the situation, you shall either be expelled or suspended. This is including smoking, The rates of our students and staff smoking on campus, has gone up immensely. This includes smoking near the can, in the showers, or anywhere on the campus, If you are caught smoking on campus, you will be in trouble, and the consequences will not be pretty. Picture Caption: Holden Caulfield Expelled After Failing to take his school work seriously Do Your Work Kids Mr. Antolini December 17, 1932 As our students are winding down the days till winter break, the staff and I have noticed a lot of kids not studying for their finals, and winging the test, relaying on the teachers to curve their test. This will not be the case. Teachers will no longer take pity on those who are failing their class. Just as Holden Caulfield. Mr. Caulfield came to Pencey Prep a little over a year ago. He has since slacked off and does not care for the education system, nor our rules here at Pencey Prep. Because of his lack of effort in his education, he is being expelled, because of his laziness to learn important history and other information. I am warning all students to avoid this kind of ignorant behavior. At Pencey Prep, we pride ourselves into not only having a great sports team, but we also pride ourselves in our academic education. We are first in our division for having the best academic scores and being a great academic school in Pennsylvania. We are not going to let one student drag our perfect scores and school ratings go down, because Mr. Caulfield does not want to do his work. We are setting him as an example to show the students that if you do not want to end up like Mr. Caulfield, you will make sure to do your hardest on all of assignments and quizzes. Failure to do so, will result in expulsion. Have a good winter break students and we hope to see you back here after the New Year, for the new semester. Remember, be nice to one another and study hard. Picture Caption: This is what happens to your lungs if you smoke versus if you do not smoke. PAGE 1
