We would like to update the current status of the trial laying of Quartz base flooring at Quaid-e-Azam
International Airport.
Sir,
As you are aware that the basic purpose of the trials was to check the quality, especially the resistance to
scratch among the available flooring along with its Load bearing capacities in the traffic areas.
You are also aware of the facts that the permission granted to Premier Globe Industries to start the trial
was extended by the CAA technical team after extensive series of meetings flowed by Visit of our
Manufacturing plant by your technical experts which includes Senior Engineers, Designers and
consultants.
In the conclusion it was decided by the expert team of CAA prior to allowing for trial

The product must qualifies CAA flooring tile specification ,verified by any International
Independent Certified Laboratory(specification attached)#.In compliance the product
was sent to the biggest lab in Asia for testing the quality of the material on premier
globe expenses which qualifies the CAA provided specification with huge margins.(Lab
report attached).

CAA Would provide 2 different locations to be allocated on the basis of heavy traffic on
which the product would be laid for trial purpose to check the quality of flooring with
respect to Scratch, load bearing strength .

CAA team was of the view that the various designs, color pattern which they observed
during the visit at our plant and the sample submitted in the form of album shall be kept
for the decision at a later stage as the beauty and look are also important but the
product quality is to be first check at trial stage.

Premier Globe industries were asked by the designer and consultant of CAA to produce
the trial Flooring matching the existing pattern, size and texture already laid at the
Karachi Airport for the reason that the trial floor does not look odd during the course of
the trial period. In compliance despite capabilities of producing various beautiful design
,patterns and jumbo size slab3,2x1.6M (64”x128” inches) which can be cut into any
customized size we managed to copy the existing concrete tiles by adjusting the
formulation and cut the slabs into very small sizes which is more trouble some to fulfill
the requirement and task given by the CAA experts.
We are writing and updating the status to your good self to apprise you about the efforts undertaken by
your team along with Premier Globe industries (the first and the only plant in Pakistan producing
Engineered quartz slabs on a world renowned 5th generation plant) with the common objective of
benefiting the country's prestigious Venus with the latest world renowned and proven technology with
indigenous manufacturing with no compromise on quality and saving the foreign exchange
Premier Globe Industries would get the Quartz produced at our plant be tested on the prescribed
specifications of CAA (attached)from a foreign reputed certified Laboratory which was done at our cost
from “SGS International Testing Laboratories located at European Industrial Park Guangzhou China at a
huge cost in which the quartz flooring passed all the test with a very big margin(Test Report attached)
Premier Globe Industries would carry out trial laying of some area at 2 different locations to be
allocated by CAA on heavy traffic Area with the quartz and irrespective of the final design and color
premier Globe Industries would copy the existing color so that the flooring does not look odd during the
trial as advised by CAA Staff.
Premier Globe Industries would arrange to lay the trial material and fixing cost without any charges.
In the last we would like to have your attention for the handing over the 2nd patch for laying which is still
pending.
