NOTHING BUT NETS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT MARCH 24-26, 2019 The United Nations Foundation’s Nothing But Nets Leadership Summit is an exclusive opportunity to gain new knowledge, leadership training, and insights from thought leaders, experts, and senior officials in the malaria and global health community. The Summit brings together over 200 volunteer champions from over 30 states, as well as corporate and NGO partners, celebrity ambassadors and leaders from the government and UN. Together we celebrate progress, gain insight into emerging challenges, and develop the skills needed to be effective spokespersons and advocates in the fight to end malaria. WHY COME TO THE SUMMIT? The summit is the perfect way to get engaged in global health issues. Attendees will learn more about the threat malaria poses and use the skills and knowledge they've gained to urge Congress to take action. This is an opportunity for passionate advocates to demand meaningful change that will protect those most affected by this preventable disease. It's also a great way to join a community of other mission-driven individuals, build a resume, and save lives. MORE INFO: Leadership Summit admission includes access to all workshops and trainings, participation in Advocacy Day, and most meals. This year the Leadership Summit is being held at the Washington Marriott Georgetown, and for those traveling from out of the DMV area, hotel accommodations will be provided.
