Validation Requirements at a Glance
This information is based on the requirements in the Standards
for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 Standard 1
WHY
As set out in Standard 1 - Clauses 1.9 -1.11 and 1.25
WHEN At least once every 5 years for each training product on scope
Within the first three years of each 5 year cycle - 50% or more training products to be validated
HOW
One or more persons not directly involved in the particular instance of the training product being
validated whom collectively meet the human resource requirements outlined in the table below
