If I could meet a famous person I admire, it would be Stephen Hawking. He was truly a legend - despite his lifelong battle with his disease ALS, he never gave up on science and made great contributions to the mankind. I would want to spend an entire day with him at the Griffith Observatory and let him walk me through his unpublished discoveries and theories. My interest for astronomy derives from my strong passion for the boundless world outside our planet. Whenever I am troubled or feel lost, I look up to night sky and simply gaze at the stars. I can’t help myself but wonder how tiny we are in this big, endless universe, even less our daily problems. It’s my kind of meditation for the reason that it brings me greater feelings of calm and serenity.
