Reset AOL Password without Alternate Email and
Phone Number

There are many methods for reset/recover AOL email
password but here I discuss an easy method to recover your
AOL email password.

Open your internet browser and go to the AOL mail login

select login

Fill your AOL username and click Next

Click on Forgot Password

Fill your Username and Tap Next

Enter your phone number which entered with your account
first you created.

Click next

To confirm your identity, AOL needs the verification code.
You can send to you

By text or phone call. You can prefer one method.
Tips

After that, you receive the code and fill in the enter code
field

click Next


Go to the AOL Mail login page
Now select Login/Join.

Now type in your AOL username.

After that click Next.

Select Forgot password?

Type in your username.

Now Tap Next.

Type in the phone number associated with your AOL
account, the one you entered when you created it. (You
might be able to select another method here, too,
depending on which screen AOL sent you to. Now stop
here and see the other instructions below.)

Now click Next.

To confirm your identity, AOL requires a verification
code. You can have it sent to you by simply text message
or a phone call. Simply choose whichever method you
prefer.

After you receive your verification code, type it into the
Enter Code field.

After that click Next.

Now enter the new password you'd like to use.

And after that click on save.
You also can choose to receive an email to reset
your account password:

You can also choose Try another verification option.

You can simply select Email a reset link to my recovery
email address.

Now Tap Next. This will prompt the system to send an
email to the email address you provided as an alternative
email when you signed up for AOL Mail.

Now Click on Close.

Open your alternative email account and look for the
password reset link from AOL. It will have a subject line
just like "Request to reset your password."

After that click on the Reset Password button or link in the
email.

On the page where the link sends you, type a new
password.

And after that Click on Save.
Another password reset process involves the
security question you set up when you created
your account:

Choose Answer security question.

Type in your answer to the question asked.

And after that Click on Next.
If your answer was correct, then you'll see the box in which you
will enter your new password. Do so, and click on Next.
Once you complete one of these methods, you should be able to
log into your AOL Mail account using your new password.
