Stronger Gun Control Laws Benefit Some But Not All

Have you ever wondered how a society in America would look if gun control laws were stronger? Well, if you had read on! You might be stunned at how stronger gun control laws can help America. Like Theodore Roosevelt once stated “This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in.” Making gun control laws stronger can help America become a secure place for citizens of all ethnicities, sexual orientations and genders to live freely without worrying about the incredibly real danger that guns pose towards them and their loved ones. In addition, there are many reasons why gun control laws can be useful in America. However, there are two that will grab your attention the most. For instance, gun control laws could lower homicide rates in the United States and would help legally owned guns not fall into the wrong hands.

Did you know that gun control laws could probably lower suicide rates in the United

States?According to the F.B.I counting mass shootings that make headlines and the thousands of

Americans murdered one or a few at a time, gunshot homicides totaled 8,124 in 2014 compared with statistics in Australia suggest the contrary. While Australia saw a 59% drop in gun-related homicides after the passage of strict gun control laws, the non–firearm-related homicide rate remained level as (The financial world). This suggests that due to gun restrictions, Australian

2 criminals didn’t merely find other ways to kill; they quit killing altogether.Homicide seems to be something common in the U.S because they don't have strong gun control laws as a result of this people with mental problem ect. take advantage of this problem. For instance in the United

States, the death rate from gun homicides is about 31 per million people — the equivalent of 27 people shot dead every day of the year. The homicides include losses from mass shootings, like

Sunday’s Las Vegas attack, the Orlando, Fla., nightclub shooting in June 2016, or the San

Bernardino, Calif., shooting in December 2015. And of course, they also include the country’s vastly more common single-victim killings according to The New York Times.

The majority of guns associate with murder suicide and homicide are from their not always from their truthful owners but sometimes they are used to commit crime.According to

The financial World regardless of the likelihood that some will go to extravagant means to break the law, it is our responsibility to put common-sense laws in place. Most mass shootings in the

United States are perpetrated using legal weapons. Criminalizing certain types of weapons and tightening regulations on others will make it much more difficult for guns to get into the wrong hands. Most guns that are acquired are stolen during robbing someone that is carrying guns around and in house robberies. The United States should consider to make the gun control laws stronger and try to avoid fire arms to fall in the wrong hands which can lead to many deaths.THis

connects to the second amendment that it is fine to be able to have a gun but that is being taken advantage on there should be atleast a limit on how much and up to where someone would be able to take a gun.

Someone may be wondering can this lead to a black market to arise out of nowhere if gun control laws are stronger and guns are banned? The financial world stated consider the

Prohibition – enormous numbers of American citizens disregarded the 1920 amendment that banned the production, transport and sale of alcohol. In fact, the law created an environment which invited an illegal market to develop for the distribution of the substance. Notorious criminals such as Al Capone rose to power by controlling the importation of alcohol to large regions and cities. A widespread ban on gun ownership would produce similar outcomes, with much more deadly consequences. The criminalization of firearms would result in an influx of devastating gang violence in urban areas, and a government effort to seize citizens’ firearms would likely result in dangerous resistance on many fronts.for a fact GUns cant be truly eliminated from the United States because there are always criminals and other people that always try to smuggle i guns from other countries illegally without anyone knowing this at all.
