To what extent do you think DIESEL can rely on it brand
alone for future growth? Explain the strategies that you
would recommend to DIESEL’s marketing manager to
ensure continued success in the 21st century.
Introduction
DIESEL is a company built on identity and its identity is its brand. It can rely immensely on its
brand because when referring to the case study the brand offers a specific lifestyle which
customers tend to conform or want to belong to. Adding on to the basic marketing mix that is
well known an addition of PEOPLE has been made, whereby if you do not understand your
people and how they find your product relatable your company will not be able to successfully
grow. The brand of DEISEL is said to be passionate brand that delivers specific promises to its
customers in the right place, at the right time, in the right way and lastly at the right price.
Marketing strategies for continued growth considering DIESEL relies on its brand alone for
future growth;
1. Influencer marketing/ brand ambassadors
2. Social media and digital marketing
 Email marketing
 Understanding search engine optimization
 Blogging
 Face book advertisements/ pop up advertisements on social media sites such as
Instagram and YouTube
 Affiliate marketing
3. Brand campaigns
4. Creating online stores that offer all the products under the brand
