 Trichuris trichiura (Whip worm):Infection with T. trichiura is more common in warm, moist areas of the
world and is often seen in conjunction with Ascaris infections.
Infection rates are highest in children.
Geographical Distribution:Worldwide distribution and its prevalence is directly correlated with
poor sanitation and the use of human feces as fertilizer.
Habitat:
Adult worm lives in large intestine of man.
