Write a letter to a friend describing your biome, ecosystem or organism, and what you have learnt about it. Draw and label a biome including the different ecosystems and organisms within it. Create a news report about an event that has occurred in you biome / ecosystem and how that has affected the organisms it contains. Compare the characteristics of your biome with a friend in a Venn diagram. Create a PowerPoint about your biome, ecosystem or organism and what you’ve learnt about it. Create a poster of an imaginary biome. What ecosystems would you expect to find their and why? What organisms would you expect to find there and why? Include images. Imagine you one of the organisms, reflect on a day in the life of that organism in that ecosystem, making reference to specific parts of your ecosystem and biome. Reflect on your own experience in a specific biome / ecosystem, and the organisms you saw, and what you observed, felt and learnt about the environment around you. Design a scavenger hunt in your selected biome / ecosystem. Provide a map as to where it is, and photos of the organisms to find (up to 10) and where you might find them. Describe the conditions the hunter would expect to face and the clothing / equipment they’d need for the hunt.
