APPLICATION FOR 2016 SCOPUS CITATION INCENTIVE
DLSU Competitiveness and Rankings Initiative
The University is giving financial incentives for 2016 Scopus citations as part of its five-year Competitiveness and
Rankings Initiative. Full-time and part-time faculty members as well as ASFs are eligible to apply. The general guidelines
are as follows:
 The Scopus database will be used as basis for computing the amount of the citation incentive
 The citation incentive will be based on citations in incurred in calendar year 2016 of all previously published
papers that are indexed Scopus
 Citations of papers in which the applicant does not list DLSU as affiliation are excluded
 Self-citations are excluded
 For each citation, the amount of the incentive is P1,500 divided by the number of eligible DLSU-based coauthors of any given cited paper.
This form must be submitted in duplicate to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation no later than
October 27, 2017, along with a hard copy of spreadsheet containing relevant data extracted from Scopus via
(www.scopus.com). The soft copy of the spreadsheet should also be sent via e-mail to citation.incentive@dlsu.edu.ph.
