Restored relationship. This is probably not about restoring joy. What is the significance of lifting a cup in that culture? I will fulfill my vows to Yahweh before all his people. What does “nah” do? Is it equivalent to please? Yes, no, maybe? “An emphatic plea for please” article Precious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of the godly saints. Yahweh, I am your servant. I serve you a son of your maidservant (as did my mother), you have loosed me from my bonds. I will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to you and I will call on the name of Yahweh.
