REQUIREMENTS TO EARN THE SCHOOL'S LETTER OR NUMERALS
To earn the school's letter or numerals in band, students must complete the following, and return it by
the announced deadline in late-April.
LETTER = 150 POINTS
I. Attendance
NUMERALS = 90 POINTS
100 % attendance at all assigned performances is required.
II. Musical performance
_____District/State Honor Band Audition (20 pts. each)
_____Participated in Honor Ensemble (District, State, KUKC, Youth Orch, etc) (40 pts. each)
_____Basketball Pep Band - performance at all of your assigned games (20 pts.)
_____Basketball Pep Band – performance at 4+ extra games (10 pts.)
_____Football Pep Band @ Away games (5 pts. Each)
_____I Solo Rating at Regional OR State (40 pts.)
_____II Solo Rating at Regional OR State (30 pts.)
_____I Ensemble Rating at Regional OR State (30 pts.)
_____II Ensemble Rating at Regional OR State (20 pts.)
_____III or IV Rating at Regional OR State Solo or Ensemble (10 pts.)
_____Musical Pit Orchestra (30 pts.)
_____Orchestra Winds/Percussion – all year incl. contest (20 pts.)
Single Concert (5 pts.)
_____Wind Ensemble (20 pts.)
_____Church Band/Orch – all year (20 pts.)
_____Freshmen Marching Band Pit (20pts.)
