Effective November 06, 2017, Vertiv™ will end the sale of the listed Emerson SwitchView
SC Secure Desktop KVMs.
The listed SKUs will no longer be available for purchase from Vertiv after the End of
Sale date (while supplies last). Each EOL SKU should be transitioned to the
Replacement SKU SC820/SC840/SC845/SC885/SC940/SC945 or SC985 product as
per the chart below. The End of Sale date is also the last date for extended warranty
sales on these products.
Things to note about the Vertiv Cybex SC8XX and SC9XX Series Secure Desktop
KVM Switches:
yyOutstanding Security: Compliant with the NIAP Protection Profile for Peripheral
Sharing Switch Version 3.0.
yyDedicated Peripheral Port permits a secure connection to external USB devices,
including CAC / smart card readers, fingerprint readers and face recognition devices.
yyAdvanced Video Support: Support for VGA, DVI-D (2560x1600@60Hz), HDMI 1.4
and DisplayPort 1.2 in single and dual head models, supporting high resolutions up to
UHD 4K (3840x2160@30Hz).
yyCables to support the Cybex SC8XX and SC9XX Series Secure Desktop KVM
