necessary supplies,
and place your
backpack on the
back left corner
cabinet top.
Remain in your seat,
on task and focused.
Be on time and in
your assigned seat,
ready to learn, when
the bell rings.
Listen carefully THE
FIRST TIME and think
about the
instructions being
given. Avoid
interrupting for any
reason (including
bathroom trips). Ask
questions at the end
of instruction.
Have all necessary
supplies ready to go
and wait quietly for
instructions.
Be thoughtful and
relevant with
questions and
respond promptly
when asked

End of Class
Focus on your own
work and avoid
outside distractions.
Stay in your work
area to keep from
interrupting other
students.
Sit in your desk
appropriately and
stay on task. Listen
carefully to
instructions and
avoid detracting
from the learning
opportunities of
other students.
Stop and put
materials away in
the appropriate
places when
instructed by the
teacher. Remain in
your seat until you
are dismissed. Leave
the room in an
orderly manner.
Raise your hand to
get the teacher’s
attention. Stay on
task and work
quietly, rather than
visiting with your
classmates.
Participate fully in
the discussion or
activity. Listen to and
acknowledge other
comments. It’s okay
to disagree, but
appreciating and
understanding
others perspective as
a gift is of utmost
importance.
Remember the
teacher excuses you,
rather than the bell.
Be patient and wait
your turn quietly if
you need to visit
with the teacher.
Use an inside voice
and be thoughtful of
others.
Carefully follow
instructions and
always do the best
you can on
assignments.
Ask intelligent
questions. Take
turns when speaking
and avoid
interrupting.
Complete and turn in
all your assigned
work and do the best
you can on it.
Clean up all of your
items and make sure
to leave the room
BETTER than you
found it. Make sure
you understand
what you need to
accomplish by the
next class period.
