The students will be watching a documentary. The documentary is called “Tapped”. The link is

They should be watching the documentary and filling out the sheet that goes with it.
Attendance

Attendance must done each class, during the first 5 minutes.

Attendance is generally taken electronically – please use the class lists provided to record the attendance
Lates
Students that are late at the beginning of the any class or after lunch should be marked late on attendance sheets.
Student Illness
Send student to the nurse. You must write a pass for the nurse. The passes are in the top left hand drawer of my desk in the
black organizer.
Student Discipline
Please address and try to resolve minor discipline issues on a student to teacher basis. If you need assistance, seek help from
a staff member who is nearby (see list above).
If there is a major incident that requires office referral, please phone the office to advise that you are sending a student
(provide details) and send them with their work or reading. *Please inform me of any discipline issues by leaving a note in the
sub plans


Students are to ask teacher permission to leave the room for drinks/bathroom breaks/etc.

Please make sure they sign out on the clipboard by the door. No agenda or pass is required. One student at a
time.

direction thoroughly before they begin any assignment.

There is a baggie that is hanging to the left of the door. This bag has the attendance in them for each
class. Take attendance, fill out the sheet and give it to a runner (employee).

Respectful behaviour is important to practice and enforce while waiting on the field
