The unfair irony is that the father built all these different places but doesn’t feel like he is welcome to go in them. 2. Rule 1: Make as much money as you can, to pay for as good a life as you can get. Rule 2: That’s what makes you happy. After that, it all comes down to dollars and cents. What gives you comfort besides your family? Money, only money. Yes, I feel like the Author made the right choice. I feel this way because your job for the rest of your life should make you happy and make money. 3. The Father told his son to grab him by the neck and tell him that he was a jerk. I do think that the father’s reaction is justified because that is how he handles problems at his job. 4. It not an ideal deterrent because you have to get too close to your attacker. 5. The relationship to me is closer when the father tells him that he is jealous of his son. I think that the relationship between the father and son will become stronger as the son becomes more successful at his job. 6. One of the biggest causes and effects in the story that was analyzed was how the son seen how hard his father work as a blue collar and could tell it wasn’t his father true passion so the effect to that is that he knew he didn’t want a blue-collar job. 7. I feel like there is a difference in language because he has a higher education than the other and because of the different environments. The son writes for a living his language is going to be more advanced. 8. The poetic image the son gave of a bricklayer doesn’t contrast with reality at all. I think his image is how everyone should look at all blue-collar jobs. 9. It explains the difference that people with trades work harder to be where they are while people with professions doesn’t have to work that hard to get where they need to be I life. I think they should both be equally respected because without one they’re isn’t the other. 10. The effect of the final paragraph made the relationship between the father and son closer together. I was really excited for the son because now he knows that is father is happy for him.
