theme and club. New club members will receive a username and password. Each theme and class have
a different club code. Your club codes can be found at www.cs-first.com/dashboard.

Student instructions:
1. Go to www.cs-first.com/go, and click "Enter Club Code." Get your Club Code from your Guru
or Host.
2. Follow the directions to sign in to this club.
3. Write your username and password in your passport.
4. Click “I’m Done,” and complete the survey.
5. Watch the introduction to Scratch video.
6. Choose a story starter by clicking a starter project link next to this video. What is Computer
Science? (5 minutes)
7. Click Remix.
8. Sign in with the information provided in your passport.
9. Add at least 3 objects for your character to react to using "broadcast" blocks.
10. Tell the story of how your character responds to unexpected objects using "say" and "think"
blocks.
11. Choose an Add-On, and click "watch" to learn how to build it.
12. Once you finish one Add-On, try another one below the video!
13. Students will Reflect to the class.
14. Watch Wrap-up video. (4 minutes) Write a G+ shout-out!
15. Click the "Share" button in Scratch.
16. Share your project with a neighbor.
