(100 points) for the entire project. The means by which you carry out your project can be the following:
-PowerPoint
-Poster
-Brochure
-E-poster completed on easel.ly and email to me by the due date (you will need to set up a google account to use the
website.
1. The project should include:
a.
Name – common and scientific (in italics)-2 pts.
b. Pictures – at least four photographs or two hand-drawings (posters or brochures)
-Two pictures of the organism (one hand-drawn)-10 pts.
-Two pictures of the organism in the environment they have invaded doing some invading
(damage done) (one hand-drawn)-10 pts.
c. Identifying Characteristics-10 pts.
d. Map of where they are from. – A good map of where they are from originally. (hand-drawn on posters
and brochures). -10 pts.
e. Map of current distribution in world (hand-drawn on posters and brochures)-10 pts.
f. Map of current US distribution (hand-drawn on posters and brochures)-10 pts.
f. Habitat – description of preferred habitat-10 pts.
g. Effects of their introduction-10 pts.
h. Efforts that have been used/or are being used for control of your species-10 pts.
i. Bibliography/Citations - put all sources used on the last slide. Put sources on slides where info is used.-8
