1. According to the third law of Newton, two
bodies interact with each other with forces
equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
2. According to Newton's second law
3. Use the acceleration formula
4. Substitute the formula for acceleration in
the formula (1)
5. After shortening by time t and opening the
parentheses, we get
6. Move vectors of momentum before
interaction to the left side, and the vectors of
momentum after the interaction to the right
side.
This equation is called the law of conservation of
momentum of bodies.
