ISWFT IMPROVED SWEPT FREQUENCY TESTER PORTABLE TRANSMISSION LINE TEST SET BENEFITS Ruggedized, mil-qualified, flight line ready test set Portable and lightweight, battery powered Both RF and optical capabilities harris.com | #harriscorp ISWFT performs radio frequency (RF) and optical transmission line performance verification and diagnostics. The Harris Improved Swept Frequency Tester (ISFWT) is a portable, battery powered, transmission line test set, designed specifically for flight line and shipborne transmission line performance verification, fault detection and fault isolation. Test functions include automatic and manual insertion loss, return loss, voltage standing wave ratio and distance to fault measurements. The ISWFT design adopts proven advanced concepts of the extremely successful AN/PLM-4 Radar Signal Simulator, which is currently in use worldwide. TRANSMISSION LINE TEST AND DIAGNOSTICS ISWFT is a robust RF transmission line analyzer that provides precise transmission line measurements for test and diagnostic purposes. A precision RF interface is utilized between the ISWFT and the Unit Under Test (UUT) improving the accuracy of the ISWFT for test and diagnostics. The ISWFT is supplied with extremely low-loss RF cables and adapters, along with builtin automated calibration routines that minimize measurement errors and provide test repeatability. FEATURES Small, lightweight, one-man portable – 1 cubic ft., approximately 25 lbs. (11.3 kg) Powered by two hot swappable Lithium Ion batteries IMPROVED SWEPT FREQUENCY TESTER (ISWFT) USER INTERFACE Improved dynamic range over similar transmission line test sets Frequency Range: 10MHz-20GHz, with options to 40 GHz Operating Modes: Automatic and manual Comprehensive Built-In-Test (BIT) - Automatic self test at turn-on - Includes auto alignment of auxiliary external devices as necessary The integrated user interface is a sunlight readable touch-screen display running Windows-based software and allows operator interaction based on common interface practices that are familiar to most users. The interface gives the operator access to automate tests that run customer-created scripts, providing easy-to-use and repeatable testing of complex systems along with direct feedback as testing is performed. Access is also provided to manual testing, giving the user the ability to trace and repair failures when they are detected, without any additional test equipment. Test files and associated test setup parameters are uploaded to the ISWFT via a removable storage device. Transmission line test results are downloaded on the same removable storage device for archive and display to the operator. The ISFWT user interface software contains onboard test procedures, cable and cable segment data library, test archive files, exportable .csv data files for Excel or other applications for plot and display of test results and a robust operator help file. - Provides continuous status monitoring to detect internal ISWFT faults Sunlight readable display Menu driven operator interface Optional Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (OTDR) - Optical OTDR Frequency Range: 1-2 GHz About Harris Corporation Harris Corporation is a leading technology innovator that creates mission-critical solutions that connect, inform and protect the world.
