PPPoE Broadband Residential Access Server (BRAS)
The BMS 200, 500 and 800 are designed
for high-performance server clustering and
the service-provider-critical application of
terminating PPPoE sessions. Multifunction
front-panel LEDs offer at-a-glance notification of CPU, chassis, and environment
thermal status.
ServPoET BMS solutions provide high-density PPPoE termination that
minimizes rack utilization and power consumption. ServPoET BMS 200, 500,
and 800 can terminate 1000, 3000, and 6000 simultaneous sessions, respectively, in only 1U of rack space. The ServPoET BMS solution is also only 16”
deep - half the depth of a traditional rack.
ServPoET BMS is the most economical PPPoE termination solution on the
market. ServPoET’s proprietary SmartCluster™ technology lets you seamlessly
add ServPoET capacity as you grow your service.

Ethernet over ATM (PPPoEoA), Point to
Point Protocol over ATM (PPPoA), Bridged
ATM (1483 / 2684) over Ethernet, Layer 2
Tunneling Protocol (L2TP, LAC/LNS), and
802.1q (Tagged VLAN), allowing for
multiple different types of subscriber
aggregation.
