betec General terms of trade 2016
1. General: with the order confirmation the buyer accepts our delivery
conditions to be legally binding unless deviations hereto we agreed to before
in writing. They are applicable without any exception in those cases in which
the buyer regards his conditions as the only decisive ones. Our silence in
regard to the conditions of the purchaser can under no circumstances be
regarded as acceptance of same. Any non-compliance with our conditions
by the purchaser authorizes us to take the necessary legal steps. Every agreement with us or our representatives needs our written confirmation. The
use of the Uniform Laws of 17. July 1973 on !he International Purchase of
movable items and the closing of International Purchase Orders is excluded.
2. Offers are subject to alteration without notice and are not binding in
regard to delivery. We can neither be held responsible for malshipments due
to misunderstanding in telexes, telephone, cable, fax or oral information nor
from otherwise incomplete or unclear statements, documentation, drawings,
samples etc.
3. Prices are ex works, excluding packaging, plus VAT. The agreed prices are
based on the cost factor existing at the time of ordering. We retain the right
to price corrections in case the cost factors change due to wage- and material price increases, additional working steps in special makes, etc.
9. Dispatch of goods takes place on account of the purchaser: The risk
is transferred to the purchaser the moment the goods leave the factory,
disregarding whether free of charge, fob or CIF shipments were agreed. If no
special transportation mode and no special way are specified, we select the
transportation means ourselves. Foreign carriage cannot be compensated.
We cannot be held liable for any delays or additional costs for the transportation. We are at all times entitled to shipment by C.O.D., ask for advance
payment resp. insure the goods for a small fee.
10. Complaints in regard to number resp. qualitiy of goods can only be
considered, if they were handed in in writing within 7 days after receipt of
goods. Evidently faulty goods that are still in the shipment state, will be
replaced or reworked only irrespective the right to reduce the remuneration

as an addition to our “Clarus” lights, but with a pipe
diameter of 18mm. The “Minimus” comes with twice
the brightness – a crucial decision when choosing a
product.
An additional feature of using the “Minimus” for lighting
paintings is that it produces ambient lighting. Most of
the light is directed towards the picture, however some
unavoidable stray light fills the room with an unnoticeable background brightness, which is good for our
wellbeing.

What a great idea! Every pianist or organist needs good
lighting to read his or her scores. This lamp solves
the problem of finding a way to fasten such a light to
valuable instruments. This lamp is fastened to a board
wrapped in velvet to protect your instrument’s wood
surfaces. The lamp’s height can be adjusted, making
this the perfect holder for your scores.
The only wiring is a socket on the bass side of the
keyboard. Simply unplug the transformer cable and the
lamp can be readily removed and the instrument closed.
The angle of the lamp is adjustable and the
instrumentalist can adjust it as required.

fastened to the tabletops with a carefully developed,
patented base.
The height of the light stand can be adjusted at will. The
light arm is fully adjustable, both horizontally and
vertically. The arm and the light can also be rotated by
up to 140°. All of the electronic components as well as
the switch are located on the ballast within the thickened arm.
The supply lead is 2.5 metres. No tool assembly
required because of the two tilt levers. The elegant,
handmade light is built for classics.

Mounted spotlights with low-voltage bulbs at 150-250 watt, 24V at high heat
and energy consumption have so far only ever lasted a relatively short 100 hours.
Because of the design and reflector technology, expensive housing components
had to be switched on in the pool wall. The light source replacement under water
was a large job and difficult. The maintenance costs (energy + replacement bulbs)
were very high.
betec pool spotlights can be retrofitted in existing pools. Only 1/10 energy
consumption. Very long service life. Installation costs minimal. Because there the
lamps generate less heat in underwater use, there is no algae growth on the surface of the water. Spotlight with V4A design. VSG safety glass and safety shutdown
in case of cooling interruption (e.g. no water in the pool).

A complete lighting system with an integrated transformer for a maximum of 2 bus bars, which are snap
into place by a clip to the aesthetically designed ceiling
housing. The position of the conductor in the housing
is variable. It can be placed in the middle or to the left
or right. The standard Lux 1 spotlight has a joint which
is inclinable up to 180°. The second version, the Lux 3
spotlight, illuminates any room with a double gimbal
joint.
Use: Lighting systems for low ceilings, small rooms
such as a children’s room, corridors, cloakrooms, stairwells and can also be used as decorative wall lighting in
cinemas or on pillars.

Our Galaxy system is the smallest low-voltage bus bar
system on the market for conductivity and performance.
The 15mm diameter circuit board integrates two
conductor profiles with nickel or gold surfaces with an
individual cross section of 55 mm2. This means there is
the possibility for longer system control without voltage
drops.
Single rails can be mechanically or electrically
connected with pins or coupling shells. The 300 VA
(partly dimmable) toroidal core transformer, which is
integrated into the design, acts as a power supply. Two
triangular plates are used to power the rail and to
optimally calibrate the room.

Clarus Picture Light - Conversion to LED
Within the framework of the EU light source directive, small lamps are affected as well as the 100W80W incandescent lamp. In this context we would like to point out that we are already experiencing
difficulty in supplying the following festoon lamps:
15V/5W Clarus picture light (725mm)
18V/5W Clarus picture light (595mm)
48V/5W Clarus picture light (265mm)
The delivery backlog of this lamp results from the incapability to deliver of the last manufacturer.
We would therefore like to offer you as follows:
Due to the higher light efficiency and a substantially increased service life of 50.000 hours, we will
convert your picture light into a version with the latest LED technology with festoon lamps. Light
colour 3.000 Kelvin (warm tone), Increased luminous efficiency with only 10% of the former power
consumption, without heating up the lamp or the object.

Conversion of the „Clarus“ picture light
from incandescent bulbs to LED
!Assembly to be carried out only by an authorised electrician!
1.) Removal of the incandescent lamps (festoon lamps)
Disconnect the light from the electricity supply, remove
the two side arms from the light and push the festoon
lamps out of the tube.
2.) Conversion of the arm springs
Remove the two contact springs from the retaining
arms and insert the new springs by screwing them
into the arms in a clockwise direction until they are
held independently.
3.) Assembly of the LED light
Push the glass LED tube into the metal tube of
the picture light and insert the converted retaining
arms into the tube at the sides until these clearly engage.
4.) Putting your new LED light into operation
Make sure that the red dot on the LED light is on
the side of the retaining arm with the brown cable.
Unlike the light with an incandescent lamp, the
LED picture light requires an electronic Power supply.
Make sure that the cables from the retaining
arms of the picture light are connected to the
secondary side of the Power supply.
Brown = + terminal
Blue = - terminal
After that you can operate the light by connecting the primary side to an electricity supply.

Mounting Instructions
Touch Dimmer for "Clarus" Picture Light LED
Caution!: The electrical lamps have to be mounted without current and by cold state only by a specialist. Also
the change of the bulbs has to be made in this state.
Ideal for switching the picture light on
and off by touching the lamp. A brief
‘Touch’ = on/off. A longer ‘touch’ =
0-100% dimming.
Replace a fastening clip with the Touch
dimmer clip, and connect the cables,
ballast with ballast. Ensure the polarity
is correct.
Red Point (+ Pol)
Then attach the cables from the light
brackets to the terminal ‘light’, with
correct polarity. And fi nally connect the
power cord to „ballast L + N“.
