INTRODUCTION
Neidhardt Inc. is a full-service lighting manufacturer
based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where it was
founded in 1992. We take pride in our hands-on approach
to creating sophisticated, modern, and performanceoriented architectural light fixtures. We manage
every aspect of production—from conception through
fabrication—on-site at our factory in Redwood City.
Choose among the designs on these pages, or let us
modify them for your specific needs to produce unique
lighting solutions at competitive prices.
Before any order is placed, we develop detailed 3-D shop
drawings—and, if needed, photometrics. By the time orders
are released, nothing is left to chance. Products ship within
a short four-week period, unless otherwise stated.
Our core values are creativity, flexibility,
and precision performance.

The RPD02 can create a very
strong graphic presence in your
space design. Whether you stack
the various ring sizes to create
visual volume or you arrange them
symmetrically, the scale of the
RPD02 series commands attention.
And, as with most of our RPD fixtures, the
creativity and flexibility built into the series
provide the opportunity to immediately create
an original design concept through changes
to geometry, color, or scale.
Our standard finish on all exposed metal
components is a satin paint or a brushed
aluminum. The series can be lamped with a
linear LED or a linear fluorescent light engine.
For the LED version, all drivers are located
remotely. Standard color temperatures are 3100K
and 3500K. Custom color temperatures are
available upon request. The flexibility of the
LED light engine allows the length of individual

The RPD04 design series
features a simple 3-inch
cylindrical pendant with
extruded sidings elegantly
flushed into the satin white
acrylic shade.

Whether used individually or
suspended in a grouping of
multiple fixtures from a master
canopy, the RPD04 makes a
bold statement in any modern
architectural setting.
The series can be lamped with a linear LED
light engine that allows drivers to be located
remotely. LED light engine shade sections
are available in lengths of up to 96 inches.
The RPD04 also can be lamped with a linear
T5 fluorescent light engine, in which case all
ballasts are mounted in the metal can section
above the shade. The length of the shade
sections on the fluorescent versions is fixed, as

The RPD07 began as a simple idea: take a
low-profile extrusion, fit it with an efficient light
source, and offer it in lengths of up to 96 inches.
From there, we let the imagination run wild—
and the possibilities are endless.
The key is the connector block,
which can hold the linear
extrusions at various angles
projected into space.
The series is lamped with a linear LED light

Our design team stripped away housings for the
heat sinks and fittings in order to expose the
“plumbing” of the LED technology. The resulting
designs are infinitely adaptable light engines with
a strikingly graphic presence, producing up to
2,000 lumens per light source.
The RPD11 series is lamped with a remote phosphor
LED light engine, with integral or remote drivers.
Our standard finish is either a painted redand-black heat sink combo or a painted blackand-black heat sink combo. Standard color
temperatures range from 3000K to 3500K. Both
finish and color options can be modified easily.

It all depends on how you apply shade color and
finish. The RPD13 shade system can be configured in
diameters of up to 48 inches.
The series is lamped with a compact fluorescent light
engine, and all ballasts are mounted integrally.
The standard finish on the sidings and all exposed
metal components is satin bronze anodized and satin
nickel. The finish can be modified easily. All shade
panels are cut from the 3form Woven color collection,
ghost-backed, and finished with a sandstone surface.

The RPD14 series celebrates
the good old fashioned lightbulb,
except that lightbulbs they are not.
The shade elements are mouth blown in the United
States. Each of the three shade variations of clear,
clear frosted, or clear antique combine with the
various bracket and application options make this
a very versatile, simple, and elegant lighting
solution. Powered by a powerful warm white LED
chip, these “bulb” designs will last a very long
time. Use them in multiples over a point of interest
to accent with restraint, or place them in corridors
to mimic the old Edison look.

The Studio Chandelier series
features at its core a white acrylic
orb equipped with a compact
fluorescent light engine.
Machined from solid aluminum bar stock,
all Studio hardware serves a single purpose:
to show off the depth of light created by the
glowing layers of shade materials. The look is
architectural and of superior quality.
Using 1/16-inch bands, we can create diameters
up to 48 inches. We also can incorporate a
variety of 3form Varia Ecoresin woven colorresin panels into the design for truly unique
lighting solutions.
