Eclipse and/or CRM experience a plus Professional appearance and attitude Good follow-through habits Bilingual a plus High School diploma or equivalent Team oriented • Must pass a national background check ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Primary responsibility in assigned territory and at designated accounts for sales & marketing efforts and results • Develop sales and marketing plan for assigned territory and for targeted accounts in unison with Sales Manager and/or General Manager • Implement sales and marketing plan under supervision of Sales Manager and/or General Manager, including preparing quarterly territory progress data for review with Sales Manager and/or General Manager • Perform sales functions by building trusting relationships with customers and co-workers, making presentations, negotiating for best pricing terms, preparing bids/quotes, effective follow-up to close orders, handling customer problems and issues, and interfacing with all other ALA departments to support and serve customers • Locate and develop target accounts • Maintain and increase sales for current customer base • Make in-person sales calls each week to key customers including buyers, electricians and maintenance personnel as agreed upon by Sales Manager and/or General Manager • Develop and maintain customer profile on major customers by detailing customer product type and product line usage, new product needs and competitive status; and continuously build contact list for use in marketing communications • Leverage sales tools including local reps, seminars, collateral material, sale automation and communication tools, etc. • Provide or obtain technical support for customers on specifying new products and troubleshooting existing products and applications, by using personal skills, Company resources as well as vendor and/or vendor representative resources • Coordinate the booking and processing of orders with Inside Sales staff • Prepare and present customer and in-house presentations, as required • Market and promote targeted product lines as required • Attend trade shows, expositions and other marketing events in territory and outside of territory, as required by Sales Manager and/or General Manager • Participate as required in training and product seminars, classes, etc. including sessions held out of area and requiring overnight and weekend travel • Meet weekly with General Manager to review progress on key accounts and opportunities HOURS OF WORK: As necessary to profitably increase sales.
