LARGE DVR SECURITY ENCLOSURE
Secures and protects digital video recorders (DVRs) and other
electronic security equipment located outside equipment rooms to help
prevent accidental damage, theft or vandalism. Use CPI’s Large DVR
Security Enclosure to provide the critical security needed for your
electronic equipment. Secure equipment that is 10.5”H x 22”W x 26.5”D
(267 mm x 559 mm x 673 mm) or smaller, or to wall-mount up to 5U of
19”W EIA rack-mount equipment that is 26.5”D (673 mm) or smaller.
Place on a countertop or shelf, or wall-mount
Hinged, locking front door with optional plexiglass window
Removable top/cover provides easy access to equipment
Internal attachment points for the accessory Tapped Rail Kit
(ordered separately), flush mount the rails with the front of the
enclosure or inset them 1.25” (32 mm) to allow additional space for
front side cable connections
Ventilation: includes a Fan Kit with a single 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz,
110 CFM, 37 db, 15 W fan and a 46”L (1168 mm) power cord with
NEMA 1-15P plug; fan is UL Recognized and CE marked; the right
front side of the enclosure has an air vent; the fan is on the left back
side (airflow is vent-to-fan, front right side to left back side)
Wall-mounting: the back has (2) 1/4” diameter keyhole slots on
16” (86 mm) centers for horizontal wall-mounting which requires the
accessory Wall-Mount Kit; the bottom has (4) 1/4” diameter keyhole
slots on 16” (86 mm) centers for vertical wall-mounting, which
requires the accessory Tapped Rail Kit
Cable access: the back and bottom panels each have (1)
1-1/2” cable knockout with grommet for cable access and four
conduit knockouts for (2) 1/2” or 3/4” and (2) 1” or 1-1/2” diameter
conduits; the right and left sides each have one conduit knockout for
(1) 1/2” or 3/4" diameter conduit

Accessories
Tapped Rail Kit - Use the Tapped Rail Kit to install 19”W rack-mount
equipment in the enclosure; mounting rails provide 5U of rack-mount
space. The rails are punched with the EIA-310-D universal vertical
hole pattern, have 1.75”U (44.45 mm) and are tapped with #12-24
threads. The rails attach at the front of the enclosure flush with the
front of the enclosure or inset 1.25” (32 mm) to allow extra space for
cable connections. Rack-mount equipment must have mounting
brackets at the front. Kit is required when wall-mounting in the vertical
orientation (bottom against the wall) and is recommended when
wall-mounting in the horizontal orientation. (ordered separately).
Wall-Mount Kit - Use the Wall-Mount Kit when installing in the
horizontal orientation (back against the wall); includes a pair of 9.25”H
x 26”D (235 mm x 660 mm) triangular brackets that create a shelf for
the enclosure. Installation requires 1/4” hardware (ordered separately).
