Technology
In a short span of time, the world has witnessed vast
changes in technology, changes that affect our daily lives. Through
the evolution of technology, many new products are introduced into
the market. Those products that make a smart use of said new
technology, inventing at the same time an evolutionary design, are
bound for success. Telephone technology and the designing of new
cell phones gives us a good example of how immense an impact
this type of evolution can have on our society.
The beginning of the 21st century has seen a revolution in the
lighting industry with the introduction of electronics. LEDs (Light
Emitting Diodes) were once limited to architectural ambient lighting.
The evolution of this technology is now seeing the LEDs used to
replace incandescent and fluorescent lights along with other
traditional forms of lighting. This change in the lighting business
sector is known to many as “The LED Lighting Revolution.”
Not often do we see new “evolved” lighting
products leading the way for this important change in
technology. The market is flooded with products that fit already
existing standard down-light designs, retrofit with LEDs. T-BAR LED
Smartlight™ is offering a new design perspective in connection to
the LED lighting revolution. This product was conceived by thinking
outside the “box”. Many LED replacement products for suspended
ceilings are designed to fit the 2x2 or 2x4 panel that once housed a
fluorescent light. Our evolutionary product has been designed to fit
a smaller linear area giving out the same quantity of light but with a

that integrates the T-BAR LED Smartlight right into Armstrong

EMerge Alliance® Registered product. The T-BAR LED FlexZone Kit is used in place of our 24Vdc
