At the conclusion of this activity,
participants should be able to:
1) Identify best practices in
neurohospitalist care models to
implement in their own practice
2) Recognize challenges to healthcare
delivery and reimbursement, with a
plan to increase reimbursement
3) Discuss challenges of teleneurology
implementation in today’s society with
an emphasis on how this model will
change the neurohospitalist model
4) Identify challenges when caring for
elderly patients, and solutions to
prevent delirium and inpatient falls that
can be applied in any hospital setting.
5) Implement protocols for
challenging diagnoses in order to
provide high quality, cost-effective care.
