The PilotPlus Aviation FlightSimulationfor

aviation training opportunities.
Training ranges from complete
private
and
commercial
license programs to training
for additional ratings and
aviation qualifications. Our
training takes place in a
classroom
environment,
in aircraft operated by our
partner Guardian Aerospace,
and in our state-of-the-art
Redbird FMX 1000 full motion
flight
simulators.
These
simulators are approved for
the simulated instrument
flight training portion of both
the private and commercial
licenses, the instrument rating,
and may be used in place
of an aircraft for instrument
rating renewal flight tests.
This course is an introduction
to flight solely by reference to
instruments . The course consists
of the five hours of ground based
simulator flight required for the
private pilot license. Training
will use the College’s Redbird
full motion flight simulators.

to provide spouses, partners,
and friends and business
associates of pilots with an
introduction to basic flight

is supplemented by actual

enable the person trained to
be able to sufficiently control
the aircraft in the event of pilot
incapacitation to bring about a
positive outcome, which is to
say, communicate with persons
able to assist, navigate to a
suitable landing area, and land
the aircraft under control.
