Who We Are
ATS Services Limited specializes in the management, operation and training of aviation
communications and meteorological services for private operators, airport authorities,
development corporations and government agencies. ATS Technology Systems Inc. has
Canadian and North American distributorship rights for a variety of professional quality
weather instruments. ATS Meteorology USA Inc. specializes in the management of
airport meteorological operations and in Sales and Services of specialized meteorological
instrumentation in the United States.

Management
ATS believes that in order to effectively manage aviation communication and
meteorological services, management staff must be fully trained and certified operators
who fully understand every aspect of the industry. As a result, our corporate staff brings
decades of broad and progressive air traffic and meteorological skills, operational and

Mobile systems can be transported by road or air to remote locations for rapid
deployment.
These systems can be supplemented with a qualified Observer Communicator and
communications equipment in order to provide a full advisory service.

Selected Projects…
Fort Smith (Northwest Territories) Community Aerodrome Radio Station

1999 - ATS began operations at the Fort Smith CARS which until that time
operated as a Flight Service Station. Fort Smith CARS has the highest number
of aircraft movements of any CARS in Canada and maintains a 100% reliability
and accuracy rate since inception. Over 100,000 weather observations taken
without a single miss. NWT CARS “Station of the Year” in 2000.
Observer/Communicator Training, Cornwall, Ontario

2001 - ATS developed and delivered Observer Communicator training designed
for the Cree sites of Wemindji, Waskaganish and Eastmain of the Abitibi region of
Northern Quebec. This was the first Observer Communicator training program
delivered at Nav Canada’s Training Institute in Cornwall, Ontario.

Quebec Observer/Communicator Training Program

2004 - ATS Training Division establishes permanent training facilities to provide
ongoing Observer Communicator Training for the 15 Community Aerodrome
Radio Stations throughout Northern Quebec including the Kativik and Cree
Community Aerodrome Radio Station.
Northwest Territories CARS Administration

2005 – On April 1, under contract with NAV CANADA, ATS assumed
responsibility for the management and administration of the complete Northwest
Territories Community Aerodrome Radio Station (CARS), 17 airports in all.
Ice Branch Training

2007 – ATS Training Division designed and delivered a first of a kind bilingual
customized Weather Observing / Weather Briefing course to the Ice Branch
employees of Environment Canada, employed on the Canadian Coast Guard
helicopter carrier vessels.
ATS Technology Systems Inc.

2007 – Creation of ATS Technology Systems Inc. specializing in the sales,
installation and maintenance of meteorological and environmental monitoring
instrumentation. ATS Technology Systems partners with several world class
manufacturers to provide professional high quality meteorological and
environmental monitoring systems.
Department of National Defence

2008 - For a 12 month period ATS provided full weather observing services at the
military airfield at CFB Bagotville, Quebec.
Winter Olympics

2010 – ATS was awarded a three month high profile support contract at the 2010
Vancouver Winter Olympics and Paralympics. Providing expert staff at three 24/7
weather offices (Whistler, Penticton and Squamish) and technical expertise for an
assortment of research grade weather instruments, ATS received high praises
from Environment Canada and Nav Canada for a job well done.
EcoCanada/BEAHR

2011 – ATS licensed to provide Eco Canada/BEAHR aboriginal environmental
training programs. These community-based training programs are designed to be
employment focused and short term for the benefit of aboriginal learner,
community, and employer.


2012 – Creation of ATS Meteorology USA Inc. specializing in the management of
airport meteorological operations and in Sales and Services of specialized
meteorological instrumentation in the United States.
Awards

NavCanada - Supplier of the Year Award
ATS has received numerous “Award of Excellence” for ATS’ supports of Nav
Canada’s Air Traffic Management System and Weather Data Collection Services.

Department of National Defence Employer of the Year in New Brunswick
ATS was nominated for the “Employer Recognition Award” for the province of
New Brunswick by DND’s Canadian Forces Liaison Council.
