WHY RED HOT VINYL ADHESIVE ?
BENEFIT FROM RED HOT VINYL! Our adhesives provide superior adhesion and long-term UV
stabilization. The sun’s natural ultraviolet (UV) rays will destroy and discolor PVC and many of
its additives unless specifically formulated to guard against degradation. Our Red Hot Vinyl™
adhesives are formulated to protect against this.
THE TEST To prove the point, Christy’s compared its Red Hot White Vinyl™ adhesive against
other clear solvent cements widely used throughout the industry and subjected them to UV
testing. Product was troweled and feathered on opaque white acrylic plates. At 144 hours
under the UV lamp, discoloration was evident with competitor #1 and #2. At 192 hours,
the discoloration was more intense, and at 208 hours the test was terminated due to
obvious discoloration.
