Energy DC - Rectifier
Delta is a DC power supply range with all capabilities required for charging lead (Pb) and nickel cadmium
(NiCd) batteries while optimizing their service life.This ranges covers all normal DC voltages from 12 to 48Vdc
and provides the right power. They are suitable for all industrial applications including system with long
lasting battery.
DELTA modules have been designed for charging all normal types of battery. Thanks to the easy interface status, you
can process a lot of adjustements and operating status is available. Several protections and functions are integreted
to make service and installation easier and faster. They guarantee reliable use and extend battery service life even if
it used in restrictive and difficult environnement. DELTA modules can also be configured in DC power supply, with an
adjustable output voltage. They can also be integrated on a support plate, in box or in electrical panels to provide DC
power supply with backup for process control systems, signaling devices, relays or solenoïd valves.

Functions
The test allows to prevent back up interruption due to a wire or a battery link cut or defective battery.
The operator can carry out this test any time, by strapping connector terminals.
Although Delta chargers are pre-adjusted for standard batteries, their output voltage can be adjusted
to up to 125% of nominal voltage by using the potentiometer on the front of the unit.
To accelerate charging, it is useful to set the voltage at a higher level for several hours. Delta chargers
are equipped with a Boost feature which rises the charging voltage by 3.8%. This function is activated
by strapping connector terminals.
