interaction. If you plan to have handouts, please bring a minimum of 40 copies or bring an adequate
number of business cards to give to participants who would like to contact you for additional
information about your session.
Poster Session Guidelines:
The Poster Sessions provides an opportunity to have an informal discussion between presenters
and participants. During the poster session time, presenters are expected to remain at their
individual displays to be available for questions and informal discussion of the poster content.
•Keep it simple.
•Prepare a brief discussion of your poster.
•Less text is better. Use graphs, charts, etc. to make your points. Don't use all capital
letters; it is much harder to read.
•Information should be clear, concise, and organized.
Each poster session presenter will be provided a foam core poster board (40”x60”) placed on an
easel. Velcro, tape and push pins will be provided by the CEE. Power source will be available but
limited. If you would like to pick up your supplies before the session, please contact Gwen
Pajotte, gpajotte@councilforeconed.org.
Research Session Guidelines:
Research papers will be assigned to a research session and matched up by theme or topic. A
discussant would be assigned to each paper and a moderator would be assigned. Please keep your
eye out for emails from the Conference Research Chairs about important information on your
research session.
Reminder:
If you would like your presentation posted online before or after the conference, please
contact Gwen Pajotte, gpajotte@councilforeconed.org.
About the Council for Economic Education
The Council for Economic Education (CEE) is the leading non profit organization in the United
States that focuses on the economic and financial education of students from kindergarten
through high school, and they have been doing so for over 65 years. They do this by educating the
educators: providing the curriculum tools, the pedagogical support, and the community of peers
that instruct, inspire, and guide. All resources and programs are developed by educators and
delivered by CEE’s national network of affiliates—over 240 across the country.
