In evaluating the cost of any metal panel, the installation,
maintenance and repair cost over the life of the roof must be
considered. Independent studies have shown, in most cases, a metal
roof system is the most economical when all these factors are taken

Monarch Batten Seam
®
TM
Monarch is a “batten” style panel with an integral batten and seam.
The batten seam and lock are an integral part of the panel, and a
vertical “leg” is formed as an extra water barrier. A clip is hooked
over the leg; this allows for the expansion of the system. The panels
interlock with each other. All clips and fasteners required to install
the panel are concealed with the batten of the consecutive panel.
Continuous panel lengths eliminate cross seams. Easy one-piece
installation lowers on-site labor cost, and there are no extra caps or
strips to install. Also, no special equipment is required to zip or seam
the panels together.
Dutch Seam is a continuous standing seam panel with an integral
seam. With the lock and seam an integral part of the panel, there are
no seam caps to install. This prevents “blow-off” or “creeping” of the
cap or seam. Mechanical field seaming of the panel is not required.
Just snap the panel onto the previously installed panel, fasten the clip
and the panel is in place. The Dutch Seam is a structural panel and
can be fastened directly to purlins or solid substrate. The minimum
slope requirement for a roof is 2:12. A flat roof can be converted
to the correct slope with the simple addition of a lightweight truss
system. Optional sealant is available.

2 3/8” Field-Lok Panel
The Field-Lok, FLS Series, Standing Seam panel features a Triple-Lok
design that has been proven to outperform all roof systems in testing for
wind uplift resistance. The Field-Lok incorporates a “hooked in” standing
seam with a double folded design to resist seam failure between
supports, inhibit sidelap unfurling or unzipping, and add structural
integrity to the roof system. Installed with “floating” clips, Field-Lok
accommodates for expansion and contraction of the roof system.
The adjacent panel conceals the fasteners and clips. A power-driven
mechanical seamer is used to interlock the panels at the site. Field-Lok
has the flat pan/vertical rib profile preferred by architects for superior
performance with traditional appearance. Because of its strength,
watertightness and aesthetics, Field-Lok meets the new stringent
building codes and specifications and is suitable for a wide range of
climatic conditions. The extra-high locked standing seam adds structural
integrity to the roof system. Optional sealant is available.

The FLR series is a mechanical field seamed panel system. The doublelocked structural panel can meet severe load requirements. For
aesthetic reasons or personal preference, the panel can be seamed
with a single fold displaying a broader seam. The single fold meets
the needs for a structural panel while providing the reliability of a
weathertight roof. The panel system is installed with a sliding clip.

The Eco-Seam panel is an economical, one-piece, positive-locking,
standing seam panel. There are no extra caps, strips or clips needed.
Installation is accomplished by hooking the panel into the previous
panel and fastening with mechanical fasteners through pre-punched
holes to allow for expansion and contraction. The fasteners are
covered by the adjacent panel. The positive locking action makes it
virtually impossible for the panels to slide apart.

The PC systems consist of two parts, the flat panel and a separate
seam or batten. The seam is snapped over the clips concealing the
fastening system. With the batten style, the system is installed with a
spacer clip and is snapped in place. The PC systems are not structural
panels and must be applied to a solid substrate. PC panels can be
used for tapered and curved installations.

Permashake panels simulate the look of wood grained shingles
without the maintenance problems associated with such a roof.
Metal shake panels have the advantage of fire resistance and will
not crack, split, warp or rot. Panels are installed from eave to ridge
with concealed fasteners. Panels should be staggered for a natural
appearance. The interlocking modules are fastened with an anchor
clip and lock system. Typical applications for Permashake are
decorative accents for mansards with a recommended minimum
slope of 12:12 or greater. Typical applications for Permashake II are

Standing Seam Shingles are elegant in their style and feature a
four-way interlock to ensure weathertightness. These panels are
installed with concealed fasteners from eave to ridge and over a
solid substrate. Transverse seams are staggered to provide a historic
standing seam appearance. The metal roof allows for snow and ice
to slide off easily, preventing damage from freeze and thaw cycles.
Typical applications for the Standing Seam Shingle are mansards,
entryways, commercial and residential roofs with a minimum
recommended slope of 4:12.

appearance. The shingles offer easy install from eave to ridge with
concealed fasteners. An expanded polystyrene backer board gives
strength to allow for light foot traffic during installation. In some

eliminating the need for tear-off and disposal (subject to local codes).
Different colors may be combined to create interesting patterns.

easy-to-install metal roof panel. The panels are structural, practical
and economically efficient for any project. ScanRoof is the ideal
roof system to stand up against Mother Nature’s storms, typhoons,
hurricanes, damaging winds and driving rains. The panel is installed
horizontally, from eave to ridge. ScanRoof has a 2” high integral
Z purlin allowing for air flow between the panel and substrate. It

Function of InSpire
The InSpire wall panel, a transpired solar collector, is mounted a few
inches from the building’s outer wall. The precision perforations in
the wall panels allow outside air to travel through the face of the
panel. Solar heated air at the surface of the panel is drawn through
the perforations where it rises between the two walls and enters
the building’s central ventilation system or supply fan. The InSpire
wall panel also helps to reduce the cooling load in the summer by
preventing normal solar radiation from striking the building’s main
wall. Hot air is thermally siphoned up the wall and vented through
holes at the top of the system, leaving the main wall cooler. In the
summer, by-pass louvers allow cool fresh air to be drawn into the
building at night, maintaining indoor air quality.

Panels
The variations of this profile start with the standing seam, to the
batten style, to the plank and barn board. The texture is either smooth
or stucco embossed. A slight “V” is formed into the plank or barn
board for a variance of style. The Multi-Purpose panels have a smooth
but sleek appearance with a concealed clipless fastening system.
Typical applications include walls, fascias, mansards, equipment
screens and some limited roofing with a minimum slope of 3:12.

Our structural U’S are roll formed from metallic coated steel or
lightweight, heavy-duty aluminum. Although strong, these sturdy
U’s add a minimum of weight to the roof, mansard or fascia structure.
The HAT sections are used for the main frames and the installation
rails. The U channels are used for crossbars and connectors between
the HATS. Installed with self-tapping screws, the applications are
endless. The Structural U and HAT sections or subgirt can be used
effectively for framing and equipment screens. The design of actual
framing should be reviewed and certified by a local engineer.

ATA-Frame™
ATA-Frame can be applied to almost any building and/or roof. The easy
installation can be accomplished with a minimal disruption for the
tenants. The relatively light weight of ATA-Frame and the metal roof
panel add a minimum of dead load to the structure, possibly eliminating
removal of the old roof. ATAS offers an extensive line of architectural and
structural panel systems that can be applied to the ATA-Frame. This will
allow ATAS to be the single source supplier for your project. ATA-Frame
gives freedom of design for equipment screens, wind screens, reroofing
and penthouse enclosures. Field assembly required.
Perimeter Edge Trim
Perimeter Edge Trims include two styles of Embedded Fascia (box style and
gravel stop), Rapid-Lok Coping, Rapid-Lok Fascia and Edge-Lok Fascia. The
systems are engineered to meet the standard for “Wind Design Guide for
Edge Systems Used with Low Slope Roofing Systems.” ATAS offers a superior
coping system and perimeter edge that protects all buildings’ roof edges

The Kynar 500® PVDF or Hylar 5000® PVDF finish carries a limited
warranty against fading and chalking. ATAS coated materials are nonstaining and virtually maintenance free. Any surface residue is easily
removed with conventional cleaning solutions or detergents. Minor
scratches may be touched up with an air dry touch-up coating of the
