The tour-seminar "Modern Nursery" (Gediminas Valašinas, director
of "Klaipėdos Želdiniai" JSC).
We will visit “Megaplantas“ nursery (www.megaplantas.eu), established
in 2011 according advanced technologies and methods of Western
Europe. More than 700 trees with various forms – globular, conical,
weeping – and colors of leafs – red leaves, variegated leaves, yellow
leaves, which are suitable for planting at public places and private
territories are grown there. In Lithuania acclimatized trees of perspective
species are grown in the territory of 15 hectares. Company’s
specialization – big trees that are brought from Western Europe and
acclimatized, also decorative bushes for private and urban territories.
