Does the University have a continuous internal Evaluation system? 5.10 5.12 How are the question papers set to ensure the Achievement of the course objectives? 10 Regular academic audits are done in the meetings called by the concerned Departments and Boards of Studies to assess the efficacy of the courses offered vis–a-vis the industry requirements. Accordingly curricula are updated to equip the students with the requisite skills. Examination Departments also analyzes the results every semester. Apart from that students and faculty feedbacks are taken twice every semester. Webinar, Video Conferencing, Remote Internship, Group discussion, seminar, projects, internships, field training case study tutorials, Colloquiums, Industrial training, Technical Seminars, virtual labs, industrials tours, summer internships etc. Courses are credit based and in the semester exam grades are awarded. The University also follows the continuous and comprehensive evaluation system in the form of midterm exam, assignments etc. Weightage of internal assessment is 50% and that of End term exam is 50%. The academic programmes include both theory and practical courses. Exams are held for both. Answer scripts of the students are evaluated by both internal and external examiners. For the purpose, the Examination Department maintains the data base of external examiners to be called after the End term examinations. Question papers of some of the courses are set by the external examiners. Question paper setting, Moderation & Evaluation of answer book are partially done by external experts/ evaluators in case of Ph.D. Thesis one copy is evaluated by external evaluator within India & One copy is evaluated by an External evaluator from abroad.
