Paid Internship includes:
a) up to $5,000 stipend ($500/week/9-10 weeks, depending on site)
b) $250 after completing and presenting a poster about your research project
c) Seattle, Tacoma, and Pullman sites include up to $2,000 allowance to pay for room and
board, and mileage for two round trips
d) Prosser site includes up to $1,500 allowance for mileage to help with travel expenses
Internship includes a mandatory intensive pre-REU workshop at Heritage University to
be held June 13-17, 2016; from 9am to 4pm. Research experience at host labs starts on
June 20th and ends on August 26th (alternative times may be considered).
